Shaping the Future of Aerospace Talent

Vector Technical is shaping the future of aerospace talent. We are involved in educational partnerships, training programs, and workforce development initiatives that foster the next generation of aerospace professionals.

Shaping the Future of Aerospace Talent Through Community Involvement

As a community-minded organization, Vector Technical is passionately committed to service excellence. Since 1992, we have provided the Cleveland area and Northeastern Ohio aerospace employers with a more reliable hiring process. We also have helped a significant number of aerospace job seekers advance their careers.

Alliance for Working Together Foundation

Vector Technical is a proud sponsor of the Alliance for Working Together Foundation (AWT) in Mentor, Ohio. The foundation offers science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-to-career educational programs that help fifth- and sixth-grade students learn about, experience, and get placed into manufacturing careers.

AWT does the following to encourage students to pursue manufacturing careers:

  • Facilitates manufacturing firm tours
  • Provides Department of Labor and Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (ODJFS) pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs for manufacturing occupations
  • Offers access to transportation for manufacturing employees

Vector Technical provided three presentations at AWT between October 2023 and February 2024:

  • A two-part, 2-day presentation on resume preparation and interview etiquette for candidates reentering the workforce through the AWT machining class.
  • A daylong presentation on resume and interview preparation for Perry and Fairport High School students sponsored by AWT.
  • A daylong resume preparation and interview etiquette presentation for candidates reentering the workforce through the AWT machining class.

Ohio Technical Centers

Ohio Technical Centers (OTCs) offer manufacturing and other educational programs to adults to improve the skills and professional competencies of Ohio’s workforce. The providers offer training and credentials for in-demand jobs and a direct path to employability.

OTCs partner with local businesses and government agencies to help students understand the value of technical careers such as manufacturing. The courses and programs offered help shape the future of aerospace talent.

Vector Technical recently participated in the OTCs job fair to share welding and automotive career opportunities with over 100 Welding and Automotive students.

Partnerships with local high schools

Vector Technical provides resume and job interview coaching for high school students in Cleveland, Willoughby, Solon, and surrounding Ohio communities:

  • Social media consulting: We help high school students clean up their social media accounts to project a more professional image and help secure employment in industries such as aerospace.
  • Career Boot Camp: High school students use online tutorials to determine which careers, such as aerospace, might be best for them.
  • Mock interviews: We conduct mock interviews to provide guidance and support for students to secure jobs in industries such as aerospace.
  • Manufacturing career discussion: We are scheduled to talk about manufacturing careers in Northeastern Ohio, including aerospace careers, with the juniors and seniors at Madison High School.

Madison Public Library

Vector Technical provided a presentation on resume writing and interview preparation that was free to the public in February 2024. The event was sponsored by and held at the Madison Public Library in Lake County, Ohio.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program promotes workplace safety and health by educating workers on workplace hazards, employer responsibilities, and worker rights. The 10-hour program provides training to recognize, avoid, reduce, and prevent workplace hazards. Vector Technical encourages participation in this training program to elevate safety for aerospace talent and other employees.

Rotary Club of Cleveland

Employers Turn to Vector Technical for Top Aerospace Talent

Vector Technical is among the best staffing agencies for placing aerospace talent. We offer access to on-demand aerospace professionals with the skills and experience required to keep up with production demands.

Because aerospace roles vary in educational and experience requirements, employers often let a skilled trade staffing agency handle the hiring process. As a result, aerospace hiring managers who work with us enjoy peace of mind. We have the knowledge and experience required to fill companies’ aerospace talent needs.

Fast turnaround

The timeframe to refer an aerospace employee depends on our current employee database and the employer’s unique needs. Because we are committed to sending the most qualified aerospace applicants, we respond to the status of an order within 30 minutes and keep each employer informed throughout the recruiting process.

Guaranteed satisfaction

Since not every job is a fit for every candidate, an employer might discover that an aerospace referral is wrong for a position. In this case, the employer can let us know within the first 8 hours of temp-to-hire employment if they are not satisfied with the quality of our aerospace referral. Then, we will cancel all charges for unsatisfactory work and immediately refer a replacement.

We also offer direct-hire placement services. Our satisfaction guarantee varies based on our contract with the employer.
