The Company Offers No Upward Mobility

No matter where you are in your career, you are entitled to promotions and better projects based on your individual performance. If you have been feeling stuck in your job for a long time because  the company does not offer any type of upward mobility or you have gone too long without a raise, it’s time to move on . You can easily find a temp to perm management position with another company that will enable you to move up into higher levels of responsibility when you are ready.

As part of any career, you should be growing on a regular basis. A big part of this is about adding knowledge through training programs. if you are working for an employer who does not value learning or just not support your goal to learn, this can be a sure sign that you need to look for a new job. The good news is that companies are investing in learning and are willing to take on new employees who embrace this as a professional value.

The Company is in Trouble

How are your employer’s financials and reputation? You may have heard rumors that the company is dealing with financial challenges or has burned some bridges. This can be an opportune time to get out before you go down with the sinking ship. There are bound to be better jobs out there with more stable companies in the Ohio Valley. Go for it!
